Proforce has created and developed a range of Hand Protection solutions to provide total levels of protection for a wide number of industrial applications. All glove and gauntlet styles cover the basic requirements for Hand Protection featured in EN420, in addition a number of styles offer protection beyond Simple classification, including EN388 Mechanical Risk, EN407 Thermal Risk, EN374 Chemical Hazard & EN511 Cold Hazard to Intermediate levels of protection. The full range of product includes carefully selected split and full grain leather styles, PVC, Nitrile, Vinyl, Rubber, Latex and Knitted products. Designed and manufactured in collaboration with leading manufacturers within the Hand Protection industry all products are CE marked and where appropriate meet the BS EN standard shown. In addition Proforce can provide a broader range of styles including products providing protection to complex classifications of protection. BS EN Standards at a glance: EN420 – General Requirements, this requires the product to meet basic requirements including, fitness for purpose, design and construction, sizing and comfort & effieciency. EN388 – Mechanical Hazards, this requires the product to meet approved performance levels and passes for Abrasion, Blade Cut, Tear and Punctures. EN407 – Thermal Hazards, this requires the product to meet approved performance levels that will provide protection against heat and/or fire. EN374 – Chemical Protection, this covers the performance levels and attributes required for protection resistance to chemical splashes and immersion. EN511 – Cold Hazards, this requires the product to meet approved performance levels that will provide protection against connective cold, contact cold and permeability of water.
