All garments are CE marked and fully meet the EEC directive for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) No.89/686/EEC and provide protection to simple classification. Even though all garments provide basic levels of protection shown within BS EN 340: 1993 covering issues such as sizing and maintenance, most garments also provide protection to ENV343: 1998 ‘Protective Clothing – Protection against Foul Weather’. This ensures that these garments have been engineered to offer the following levels and types of protection. Thermal Protection, Water Vapour Resistance, Water Penetration Resistance. Proforce garments span a broad range of fabrics to achieve this from polyurethane transfer coated waterproof and breathable fabrics to the class leading Gore Tex membranes.
